Description
This position is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists and/or staff physicians while performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in concordance with Physicians orders. This professionally trained person will be responsible for the operation of MRI scanners, flow rate injectors, patient monitoring systems, I.V. pumps and a picture archiving system.
Requirements
Successful candidates will be a graduate of an AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology, certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology as a Radiographer and ARRT as an MR Technologist or become certified in MR within one year after completion of MR competency exams.
Two years’ experience in MRI is preferred
Candidates must have proven experience operating Magnetic Resonance Imager, flow regulated injectors and other associated Imaging Department equipment.
