Description

Join a brand new outpatient center in partnership with a well-known independent cardiology practice. The facility will feature advanced cardiac SPECT imaging technology, enabling rapid and accurate identification of patients at risk for life-threatening conditions, in a convenient and cost-effective setting, eliminating the need for inpatient catheterization procedures.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Perform cardiac SPECT acquisitions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
• Follow all Quality Control procedures on all imaging and non-imaging equipment prior to patient use
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals using aseptic techniques and following ALARA guidelines
• Follow all Radiation Safety Guidelines and Procedures
• Proficient with diagnostic imaging Electronic Medical Record workflows (Touchworks preferred)

Requirements:

• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or equivalent (ARRT or NMTCB preferred)
• At least 2 years on the job experience with nuclear imaging is required
• At least 1 year on the job experience with SPECT imaging procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration preferred
