About the Role
This part-time Radiologic Technologist role may work in one of the following modalities, based on experience and departmental needs:
- Diagnostic
- CT
- Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Mammography
- MRI
- Nuclear Medicine
You’ll report directly to the modality manager and perform duties consistent with the modality in which you are assigned. Candidates must meet the requirements of the modality in which they will be working.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be a key player in delivering safe, accurate and compassionate imaging services by:
- Performing imaging exams in your assigned modality in a variety of clinical settings, while adhering to all department protocols and standards.
- Applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self and others.
- Evaluating images for technical quality, performing appropriate post-processing, and ensuring accurate patient identification and documentation.
- Providing optimal patient care and assuming responsibility for the patient’s needs throughout their procedure, reflecting our commitment to Patient- and Family-Centered Care.
- Consistently applying patient safety principles and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Strictly following aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies at all times.
- Assisting the Radiologist with procedures and protocols as needed.

Requirements
Required Education
Certificate in Radiologic Technology
Required License(s) & Certification(s)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor (required upon hire)
- All additional licenses/certifications required for your specific modality must be current and in good standing.
Required Experience
- Diagnostic: Minimum 1 year
- Nuclear Medicine: No experience required
- CT: 1 year in Diagnostic
- IR, Mammography, MRI: 2 years in Diagnostic
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment for your assigned modality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent patient and customer service skills, with the ability to put patients at ease and build trust
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
