About you
Exciting opportunities are available for qualified Radiologists who want to make a positive impact while working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and supportive team.
Roles in general radiology and a range of radiology subspecialties, including abdomen and pelvis, neurology, interventional, and diagnostic radiology, are available across the country.
Positions are available across New Zealand with immediate start dates, or you can speak with our recruitment team about your plans to move to New Zealand.
To work as a Radiologist in New Zealand, you must become registered to practice with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Practitioners must meet competency standards and hold Annual Practising Certificates (APCs) to work safely and effectively.

Senior Medical Officers are on Tier 1 of New Zealand's Green List, which means you are eligible for the Straight to Residence Visa and can apply for New Zealand residency before you arrive.

Salary and benefits
Senior Medical Officers receive a base salary relative to their level of experience.
- Medical Officers: annual salaries range from GBP £64K – £94K (NZD $142K – $210K) plus allowances.
- Medical Specialists: annual salaries range from GBP £83K – £119K (NZD $185K – $267K) plus allowances.
Additional allowances are paid on top of base salary and vary due to location and service.
You’ll also receive:
- 6 weeks of annual leave
- 12 paid public holidays
- An annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of £7000 (NZ
- $16,000) (pro-rated for part-time employees)
- Reimbursement of your registration and practising certificate fees
- Your professional indemnity insurance is covered by us
