Description: This is a 8-hour shift 5 days each week, with the shift schedule being from 07:00 - 15:30, total of 40 hours per week.. MRI Technician with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, 2 professional references. . Only Travelers are considered who are staying above 60 Miles from the facility. The all-inclusive hourly non-local pay rate for this position is $64.21/hr, encompassing a taxable component of $46.62/hr, along with a per diem of $17.58/hr.\n

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered MRI Technologist Ohio state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MRI Technologist program
• One year of work experience as MRI Technologist
• One year of EMR experience
• ARRT Certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
• Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
