The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator to join its nationally recognized Division of Breast Imaging. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

The Breast Imaging Section is an integral part of the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center (LSCBC), a nationally renowned program providing multidisciplinary, patient-centered care for breast disease. The section is housed at Prentice Women’s Hospital, located on Northwestern’s downtown Chicago campus, and serves as a hub for both advanced clinical care and academic excellence.
Clinical Environment & Technology
Faculty practice in a high-volume, fully integrated facility, performing over 90,000 breast imaging studies and interventional procedures annually, including MRI-guided biopsies. The section is exceptionally well equipped, featuring:
Digital Breast Tomosynthesis
State-of-the-art ultrasound systems, including the latest 3D ultrasound technology
Two prone tomosynthesis/stereotactic biopsy tables
Multiple 3T MRI scanners dedicated to breast imaging
The division actively participates in multicenter clinical trials and the development of emerging breast imaging technologies, offering ample opportunities for academic and scholarly engagement.
The successful candidate will:
Attend on the Breast Imaging service at Northwestern Memorial Hospital
Teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and other trainees
Participate in an established Breast Imaging Fellowship Program, which trains six fellows annually
The department strongly supports clinician-educators who are passionate about teaching, curriculum development, and academic mentorship.

Qualifications
ABR certified or board eligible
Fellowship training or equivalent expertise in breast imaging preferred
Expertise in all aspects of breast imaging, including tomosynthesis, ultrasonography, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsy
