ABR Alternate Pathway Fellowships at the University of Maryland
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is expanding its ABR Alternate Pathway fellowship program and is recruiting fellows for initial and transfer opportunities. Transfer candidates who have already completed one or more years of ACGME-accredited fellowship training are especially encouraged to inquire. We offer non-ACGME fellowship opportunities for Academic Years 2027–2028 and 2028–2029 in the following areas:
- Abdominal Imaging
- Breast Imaging
- Cardiothoracic Imaging
- Emergency and Trauma Radiology
- Musculoskeletal Imaging
- Informatics (to be combined with other subspecialty subjects)
We also have ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology fellowship positions available for Academic Years 2027–2028 and 2028–2029. For highly qualified candidates, faculty appointments within the Department are possible. Salary for non-ACGME fellows is a competitive $125,000. Salary for ACGME fellows follows post graduate year ($72,133 - $96,069). Off-cycle starts may be available. All years will be reviewed, planned, and guaranteed prior to start.
