Vandalia Health Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC), in partnership with the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our growing academic Interventional Radiology program at a high-volume tertiary referral center in Charleston, West Virginia.
This is a 100% Interventional Radiology position offering broad procedural exposure, multidisciplinary collaboration, and opportunities for teaching, research, clinical innovation, and leadership development within a supportive academic environment. Faculty rank is available at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.
The successful candidate will join a collegial and expanding IR team dedicated to advancing patient-centered, innovative care across southern West Virginia and the Appalachian region. This position is ideal for a physician who sees Interventional Radiology not only as a procedural specialty, but also as an opportunity to improve access, outcomes, and systems of care for medically underserved and rural populations.

Procedural Focus
Broad spectrum of advanced image-guided interventions including:
- Interventional oncology, including thermal ablation and radioembolization
- Embolization therapies
- Portal hypertension and hepatobiliary interventions
- Biopsy and drainage procedures
- Genitourinary interventions
- Women’s and men’s health interventions
- Venous access and complex vascular interventions
