Lee Health seeks a Breast Ultrasound Sonographer to perform high-quality breast imaging that supports accurate diagnosis and compassionate, patient-centered care. In this role, you will conduct diagnostic and interventional breast ultrasound exams, optimize image quality, and recognize normal and abnormal findings for radiologist review. You’ll educate and comfort patients, maintain equipment, ensure accurate documentation in EMR/PACS, and uphold safety and quality standards. Perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams following established protocols
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout procedures
Recognize and document normal and abnormal breast findings for radiologist review
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff for coordinated care
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality
Accurately document exams in EMR and imaging systems (PACS/RIS)
Follow radiation-free imaging and infection control standards and regulatory guidelines
Support workflow efficiency and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Current ARDMS certification in Breast (BR) or eligibility within specified timeframe
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent required
Current BLS certification
