The Department of Radiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland (UHCMC)/Case Western Reserve University is seeking a highly motivated board-certified or board eligible radiologist with fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology for a full-time position in our academic radiology practice. Our world-renowned health care network is anchored by our flagship facility, UH Cleveland Medical Center. This 1032-bed academic medical center and tertiary-care hospital has been consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's best hospitals in all 12 medical and surgical specialties.
The division of Musculoskeletal Radiology has a broad practice which includes all areas of musculoskeletal imaging and intervention including a tertiary referral center for orthopedic oncology, a Level 1 Trauma program, and advanced sports imaging including providing medical imaging for the Cleveland Browns NFL professional football team.
The selected candidate will join a state-of-the-art academic radiology department with a large supra-regional outreach service area in Northeast Ohio which performs over 1.5 million exams per year, centered upon the University Hospitals of Cleveland academic medical center.
Our section offers fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging to 2 fellows per year. The Diagnostic Radiology residency program matches 10 residents per year.
The position offers 1-3 remote workdays based on physician availability/vacation.
Interested candidates should have completed fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology and be proficient in all modalities of musculoskeletal imaging. Experience in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound is strongly preferred. A strong interest in resident and fellow education is a must. The ideal candidate would have an academic background and interest in musculoskeletal research and academic promotion. Academic promotion is available through affiliation with Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Requirements:
Ohio medical license (or eligible)
Board certified (or eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology with Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology
