POSITION SUMMARY

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to support our growing Connecticut practice. The primary opportunity is based at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, with additional coverage across outpatient sites and other hospital locations. Hartford Hospital offers a high-acuity tertiary-care environment with opportunities to perform a broad range of advanced interventional procedures, participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards, and engage with Jefferson Radiology’s onsite residency program.

We are also seeking an Interventional Radiologist interested in a community-based practice at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule and a community-focused procedural mix, with flexible scheduling and remote diagnostic reading opportunities. Candidates may be considered for the practice setting that best aligns with their clinical interests, procedural experience, and preferred work environment. • HARTFORD HOSPITAL OPPORTUNITY
• Salary Range with a base of $650,000.00 for on-site with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000.00 annually

• 80% Interventional Radiology and 20% Diagnostic Radiology

• Level I trauma coverage experience preferred
• Vein Center experience preferred, but not required
• DAY KIMBALL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL OPPORTUNITY
• Salary Range with a base of $625,000.00 for on-site with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000.00 annually
• Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively
• Community-based IR position at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut
• Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Weekend call
• Community IR procedural mix including PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, superficial and deep biopsies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, and abscess drainage
• Fluoroscopy coverage; mammography coverage preferred
• Flexible scheduling and remote diagnostic reading opportunities

Day Kimball Hospital is a 104-bed acute-care community hospital serving Northeast Connecticut. Its Putnam location offers a close-knit community setting and provides comprehensive medical services close to home.

Jefferson Radiology is a 90+ physician sub-specialty group practice with 400+ non-physician staff members based in Connecticut covering multiple imaging centers, community hospitals and tertiary-academic centers. Jefferson Radiology offers the full spectrum of diagnostic imaging, interventional services, and supports a 20-person residency program. In addition to MQSA, ACR and ICAVL accreditation, we are Joint Commission accredited. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High end IR skill set is preferred. Procedures include: Angiography, Embolization, Arterial Vascular Therapeutic, Surgical Type Procedures, Venous Catheter Procedures, Venous Vascular Access Procedures, GI Interventions, GU Interventions, Ablation Procedures, PICC Lines, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Superficial Biopsies, Deep Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Abscess Drainage.
• MD or DO
• 3+ years of attending experience preferred but willing to consider new graduates
• Level 1 trauma coverage preferred
• Vein Center experience preferred, but not required
• Graduate of an ACGME accredited Radiology residency program
• Graduate of an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship program
• ABR or ABOR board-certified / board-eligible
• ACLS required
• Connecticut license required

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $650,000 with productivity incentives up to $1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
